Before sanding the floor   After staining and finishing the floor

Restoring a wood floor in a Church in Annandale, VA was very rewarding. This church was burned in The War Between the States also known as the Civil War by orders of a Union General as it was being used as a headquarters for the Confederate solders in the area. After the war was over the General felt so bad about ordering a church to be burned he came back and helped rebuild it and became the pastor of the church.

In the center of the first picture you will see a patch to cover a hole where the floor furnace used to be. This patch was done before I started. These pictures are both looking towards the front door of the church.
