Elocin, An Extraordinary, Magical Life by ElocinI have just finished reading a book written and self published by one of my newest friends. I am not very active in reading books and can count the books I have read entirely on my fingers. Elocin's book is the first book I am reading for a second time. Elocin Martin and I met for the first time in a small coffee shop called the Blue Bottle in Yelm, Washington on Tuesday November 3, 2009 What was planned on being a 15 minute evaluation turned into a 2 and a half hour conversation which ended with us being very good friends. Elocin had experiences and knowledge from those experiences that I had been looking for for a long time. One of the most amazing things to me is Elocin was someone who didn't talk about WHAT to think so much as HOW to think. She shared with me concepts of how thought created our reality whether we were aware of it or not. Most people today are VICTIMS of their own thoughts. What many people today believe is reality is actually the result of thought. The question is, "Which came first... the thought or the reality?" This opened up enormous possibilities. Imagine if you will for a second that it is a FACT that what you think about creates your reality. If you KNEW that this was indeed a FACT, what would you think about? Elocin gave me a copy of her book to read and it is one of the most interesting books I have ever read.
Our second, meeting happened at her home on November 5, 2009 which lasted 4 hours. Much of the discussion was about my pursuing the same course of study that she had taken. The discussion was far from boring. What was amazing to me is that the power went off which meant a continuation with candlelight. Next, a gust of wind ripped the covering off the top of her home. I helped fix that and we continued talking. It seemed so natural considering we were talking about the power the mind has over our surroundings.
