The original pattern for these fish was hand designed. For more information click on the picture The goldfish are made out of 1/4 inch cherry and inlaid so that the grain of the cherry splits down each of the goldfishes backs. The cherry was pickeled flourescent Orange. The fins are white oak pickeled white. The "water" is Ash flooring that was picked flourescent blue. The border around the water is 3 1/4 flooring inch maple the brown band is Black Walnut flooring. There is another ring of Black Walnut flooring outside and the balance of the floor is Select Red Oak flooring that was mitered in four directions.
